    1. That would be fantastic if it were real!
    2. I’ve had a 98 and now this 99, both with 360’s and both Sport trucks, and they’re both great vehicles.
    3. If my recollection serves me well, those Magnums were rated at roughly 245 horsepower in all years, regardless of option package.
    4. The torque is rather good (about 300 foot pounds at 3600 rpm?) and the speed is reasonable.
    5. However, I’ve always thought that all Magnum V8s were underpowered.
    6. IMHO.
    • It is, nevertheless, my personal opinion that it is the ideal base for improvements to obtain additional horsepower and torque.

Uncertain of how well your show did in the previous year, 2002.I believe the increased horsepower on the early 5.2 was due to a cam with somewhat more aggressive specifications, but at the expense of torque and idle quality. It was at this point that they switched to the cam that stayed in use until the end of magnum v8 manufacturing.

The installation of the indy ram/sst cat back exhaust system resulted in an increase of 15 horsepower and 15 foot-pounds of torque on the 5.9 magnum, but everything else about the motor remained the same as it was on the initial 5.9 magnum in 1993.The magnums performed admirably, but they were also transported on extremely huge vehicles.Drive a 1993 5.9 D150 Ram and you’ll notice that it seems considerably stronger as a result of the 500+ lbs less weight it has to tote about. The compression on the 5.2 was 9.1-1 and on the 5.9 it was 8.9-1; it appears that the larger the engine, the lower the compression. The magnum 8.0 only has an 8.4-1 rating.

    • Please let me know if anyone knows absolutely (or has switched them) whether the hoods and/or tail lights are interchangeable with the standard ones.
    • I’m not sure what’s different on the hood, but the only difference on the tails is that the sport ones may be painted.

What happened to the 2019 Ram Sport model? An explainer.

    • A question that I’ve heard a lot of over the last 24 hours is ″How do you get a job?″ During the 4th Generation Ram’s production (2009-2008), the Sport package had its own trim level with a wide range of available options.
    • Compared to any other trim level, the 4th Generation Sport offered the most range of choices, starting with a base Sport and progressing to a fully equipped Sport.
    • Prior to the introduction of the 4th Generation Rams, the Sport was an option package rather than a trim level that could be added to an SLT or Laramie.
    • With the 2019 Ram Sport, Chrysler has returned to the practice of offering the Sport Package as an option.

So far as we know, it is only available in Tradesman, Big Horn, and Laramie trims, although this may change in the future. We do know that the Sport bundle includes the monochromatic appearance, which we will discuss further below.A dark interior motif (with black headliner and door pillar trims) is also included, along with Sport-specific details throughout the vehicle.

    • Ram has not yet provided details on the precise packages they provide, but we have reached out to them for comment.
    • When we receive a response, we will update this story.
    • Please join us in the forums and let us know what you think of these two lovely trucks in the meanwhile!

Headlights are distinct from other lights. The bumper is unique and is painted to match the truck’s color scheme.Rims and decals that are different.

    • I’m sure there are others, but that’s all I can think of off the top of my head at the moment.

    • Keep in mind that, at the very least on 3G devices, the sport model is not inherently speedier; in fact, there isn’t much of a difference to speak of.
    • A large number of sport vehicles are equipped with smaller motors, whereas non-sport variants are equipped with Hemi engines.

The sport package is only a cosmetic addition to the overall package.Posted 227 times since joining on February 12, 2007.Well.Mine is a little more sporty than yours.

    • I’m very certain that there is a height difference between an ordinary ram and a sport ram.
    • I understand that the off-road rating is greater than the sport rating, but I’d want to know whether there is a difference between sport and non-sport ratings.
    • One of my friends does not participate in sports, and his level is lower than mine.

    • A sport vehicle also has painted bumpers and, in my opinion, different lights as well as a vinyl strip.

There is no difference in terms of performance or suspension between the two options available.RPMRamFury- Does one of you have four-wheel drive while the other does not?Did you both have the same size tires?

Were you both on flat ground?Posted 1,222 times since joining on February 15, 2005.Both vehicles are 4×4, both are level to the ground, and both have the same size tire.

I hope someone who is well-versed in these vehicles could provide a definitive solution to this question.Joined on February 11, 2007 with 552 posts There is no variation in height at all.Alternatively, when ordering suspension components, they would inquire as to if you have a sport package, which they do not.

The change in performance is also negligible if at all. There are just cosmetic distinctions.Headlights, grille, corner lights, and a urathane bumper cover for the front bumper in place of chrome.Along with the taillights, the rear bumper is also painted to match the rest of the vehicle. There are unique sport wheels and emblems to go along with it.

Aside from cosmetics, there is nothing else.Joined on February 9, 2006 with 2,168 posts This particular 4×4 sport is exactly the same height as any other standard 4×4 sport of the same year and model.Bumpers are painted, the grille is painted, ″sport″ is inscribed on the rear back quarterpanels, and the headlights are different. There isn’t much else that is different.
