  3. In 2018, the 32209 ZIP code in Jacksonville was the site of at least two killings each month on average, making it the city’s deadliest neighborhood once again.
  4. With 25 killings recorded in the last year, ZIP code 32209 more than quadrupled the homicide count of the next closest ZIP code.
  5. In the ZIP code 32218, there were eight homicides, compared to 10 in 32246, nine in 32254, and nine in 32210.

The 32209 zip code in Northwest Jacksonville, which encompasses the Grand Park, Magnolia Gardens, and Royal Terrace neighborhoods, has long been regarded as one of the most dangerous locations in the city, and it has consistently had the highest number of killings in the city each year for several years.
